Virginia
We just returned from a great week at the shores of Virginia. The kids played for hours in the sand...










P.S. We've been absent for a while because our kitchen/bath renovations (which started in January and lasted for four months) were pretty time-consuming and ate up my whole life. No time or energy for posting pictures. Then we were busy for the next month or so recovering from it all and enjoying our redone house. This is what our house was looking like for a while...
the halfway knocked down wall between the family room and breakfast area/kitchen (there used to be a powder room between these rooms...as well as a very thick brick wall)--the contractors left the remaining paneling up until the last minute so we'd have a private and clean place to use our microwave/toaster oven/hotplate

Finally back. Interesting how Micky is playing in the sand yet when she is around me demands to be carried because she's "scared" - I think I just had my "Keyzer Soze" moment and just realized I've been duped!
